Fitzroy Falls are situated in the Moreton National Park. Its an area we discovered when we first moved to the Shoalhaven region and somewhere we return to regularly. The work here represents a particular visit when the sky was quite stormy and dramatic. Against this backdrop the colours of the falls and the surrounding vegetation seemed more intense. In particular flashes of orange/red banksia against the dark sky.
